Amputee Coalition Orlando

The Amputee Coalition event in Orlando, Florida, in 2023 was a fantastic opportunity to showcase SensTrain, and having Chryl, our incredible patient model, on the stand made it unforgettable.
Chryl has lived with severe phantom limb pain (PLP) for years, trying countless therapies without lasting relief. Her personal experience and enthusiasm for understanding how SensTrain works made her an invaluable part of the team. From the start, she jumped into explaining the "update your brain's blueprint" concept with ease, adding her own insights about how the brain processes pain. By the second day, she was doing such an excellent job explaining SensTrain that we joked she could take over the stand entirely!
Visitors were drawn to Chryl’s warmth and relatability. She listened to their stories, shared her own, and gave them real hope about managing PLP. She even helped demonstrate the device, quickly grasping its intuitive design and brainstorming ways it could integrate into rehabilitation programs.
Chryl didn’t just man the stand—she brought SensTrain to life. Before the event ended, we promised her that as soon as we launch in the US, one of the first Neuro-PL devices would be hers. She’s not just an advocate for the therapy—she embodies the impact it can have.
