UK Advisory Board

We are fortunate to have such a strong and dedicated Advisory Board working with us to perfect SensTrain and ensure we deliver exactly what patients want and need.
Our UK Advisory Board is a diverse group of experts drawn from both public (NHS) and private healthcare sectors, all with extensive experience supporting amputees—from surgical care to prosthetics, rehabilitation, and pain management. Alongside these professionals, we’re privileged to have Jamie, a mountaineer, and Dr. Phil, a GP, both of whom are amputees. Their personal insights into living with phantom limb pain (PLP) have been invaluable in shaping SensTrain to truly meet the needs of the people it’s designed to help.
We've held numerous meetings and workshops with the Advisory Board to refine the device and therapy approach. These sessions have been collaborative and eye-opening, combining clinical expertise with lived experience to guide decisions on everything from functionality and comfort to patient education.
Their feedback has led to several important developments, including adjustments to the NeuroTraining patch design for better adaptability to different residual limb shapes, enhancements to the SensTrain app for easier navigation, and an emphasis on user-friendly calibration settings to improve patient independence.
This partnership with the Advisory Board has been a cornerstone of SensTrain’s journey. Together, we’re ensuring that the device isn’t just effective but also practical, accessible, and genuinely life-changing for those living with PLP
